Margaret Ceconi

EVP Portfolio & Underwriting, Legacy Corporate Lending LLC

Margaret is a seasoned asset-based lender with over 25 years of experience in portfolio management, restructuring, underwriting, and credit analysis. She specializes in originating, structuring, and optimizing portfolios with credit facilities ranging from $5 million to $500 million.

Starting her career as a field examiner at Heller Financial, Margaret later served as SVP and regional manager at GE Capital’s Capital Funding group. As a workout lender and turnaround consultant, she excels in managing problem loans and facilitating liquidations within and outside of bankruptcy.

Her expertise spans industries such as oilfield services, manufacturing, retail, aerospace, and industrial companies.

Margaret is actively involved in the Turnaround Management Association’s NOW Committee and the Secured Finance Network, where she has held leadership positions. She also founded the Women’s Finance Exchange in Houston and Dallas.

Margaret holds a BSBA in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi.
