Valley Bank on Thursday said it hired Juan Santana to fill the role of first vice president, corporate banking, and relationship manager for New Jersey and Rockland County.

In his new position, Santana will be dedicated to acquiring and growing relationships with commercial and industrial clients, focusing on companies with revenues from $25 million up to over $1 billion.

Santana began his 13-year career in retail banking at Peoples United and KeyBank. While at KeyBank, he moved into a client deposit management position before becoming a relationship manager in commercial lending for the tri-state region.
