Board Members

With over 30 years of experience in asset valuation and commercial lending, Frank Grimaldi is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships for Gordon Brothers’ Valuations division throughout North America. In this role, he leads a regional team of business development officers and works closely with asset-based lenders, private equity sponsors, and corporate management teams to help them understand the underlying value of an extensive range of assets including inventory, machinery and equipment, and intellectual property.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers in 2011, Frank was with Brevet Capital, where he was responsible for origination of investment opportunities and management of assets for the New York-based hedge fund. In addition, he spent 16 years with the CIT Group, including six years at CIT/Commercial Services, where he led the National Credit Administration group and oversaw workout situations and business development.

Frank is a member of the Secured Finance Network, the Turnaround Management Association, New York Institute of Credit, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. In 2019, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City honored Frank for his many years of work in support of the organization’s mentoring programs. In 2017, Frank was appointed a Trustee of the Global Board of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA); concurrently he sits on their New York City Chapter Board of Directors as Chairman of Sponsorship. Additionally, he has held numerous positions within the TMA organization including President of the Long Island Chapter and Treasurer of the New York Chapter. Frank received his BBA from Hofstra University.
