Carlos Elizondo

Head of Originations, Southwest Region, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

Carlos Elizondo is the Head of Originations for the Pacific Southwest Region of PNC Business Credit and a Senior Vice President with PNC Bank. He leads a team of professionals located in Texas and California, responsible for sponsor coverage and specializing in originating, structuring, and closing asset-based and cash flow loans.

Before joining PNC in 2017, Mr. Elizondo was a financial advisor serving middle-market companies, including those in distressed situations. He co-founded Vericimetry Advisors, a quantitative asset manager, and was a SVP & Team Leader at GE Capital, where he also held roles in originations, portfolio management, and underwriting. Mr. Elizondo began his career at Arthur Andersen, performing audits and transaction advisory services. 

Mr. Elizondo obtained a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern California. He has served as an officer or board director for numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations.
