Joerg Obermueller

Joerg Obermueller is a Managing Director of Supply Chain Finance within the Commercial Services business at First Citizens Bank. He is based in New York, NY.

In his role, Joerg is responsible for growing the supply chain finance client portfolio, building new client relationships, developing strategies to address new target markets and ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction.

Prior to First Citizens Bank, Joerg worked at Deutsche Bank AG New York, where he was head of supply chain finance sales for North America. Earlier in his career, he also worked in supply chain finance and factoring at Postbank, later acquired by Deutsche Bank. Joerg started his career in corporate finance as a credit officer at Commerzbank AG Bielefeld (Germany) and Atlanta, GA.

Joerg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
