Martin Efron

Managing Director of Portfolio Management, White Oak

Martin F. Efron is the Head of Factoring for White Oak Commercial Finance, where he is responsible for the division’s client management and business development. Based in New York, he oversees a diverse portfolio across multiple industries, including textiles, apparel, furniture, and staffing. 

Prior to joining White Oak, Martin served as Partner & Senior Vice President at Milberg Factors for ten years. There he was involved in varied parts of the business from risk management to building the company’s international factoring portfolio. Martin previously worked at RBS Citizens and Citigroup as a lender to Middle Market and Mid-Corporate US companies, where he sourced, arranged, and underwrote senior financings. 

Before obtaining his MBA from Stanford University, Martin managed a start-up, Cooperativa Crediface in Buenos Aires. It was there that he first grew his knowledge of factoring, financial modeling, and underwriting. Martin holds his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Martin is an active participant in the Factoring industry and has written articles and participated in conferences and panels for the Secured Finance Network, International Factoring Association, the New York Institute of Credit, and Factors Chain International.
