In 2010, Travis was hired as an analyst for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he was assigned to its asset-based lending group.  Travis was exposed to various areas within ABL, including STRH capital markets group.  He was promoted to associate with the underwriting team.

In 2015, Travis joined Citizens Business Capital origination team to assist in their national expansion efforts, including opening new offices in Atlanta and Dallas.

Travis is an active SFNet member and currently serves as the president of the SFNet YoPro! Atlanta Chapter and also volunteers at local charities around the Atlanta area.

Travis received his Bachelor Degree in Business Management and MBA in Managerial Leadership from Piedmont College.

Travis and his wife, Lesley Ann, reside in Atlanta, GA, along with their two dogs, Milo and Wrigley, and are very excited about welcoming their first child, Amelia Ann, into the family in October.

In his spare time, Travis enjoys boating with his wife on Lake Lanier, golfing, and watching Clemson College football.

When Travis was informed he was chosen as one of SFNet’s 40 Under 40, he said, “I am truly honored to be receiving this award, which would not be achievable without a great support system over the past six years.  I want to thank my wife, family and colleagues (past and present) for all the support and assistance as I continue to work towards achieving my career goals.   I am grateful to have incredible mentors who have gone above and beyond to help shape my career path. A few key takeaways I have learned: (i) how to handle adversity, (ii) never be afraid to ask questions and (iii) building your network is an invaluable tool that no one can take away. I am reminded of a couple of favorite quotes:

“Never allow the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game” – Babe Ruth

“In baseball and in business, there are three types of people: Those who make it happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened.” – Tommy Lasorda

His nominator, Patrick Bickers, managing director - head of Business Capital Originations at Citizens Financial Group, Inc., said, “I have had the privilege of working with Travis at both STRH and Citizens.  Travis’s contributions to the team’s success always exceed expectations.  Travis has always been coachable, but leverages his own views to achieve his goals and objectives.  He is a team player and natural leader as evidenced by his active involvement as President of SFNet’s YoPro Atlanta Chapter.  He understands the value of networking and assisting others.  Travis’ talents, work ethic and competitive nature are his key attributes.  Simply, Travis is a winner.”
