Jenna Birkhold is an Associate at Phoenix Management Services; Phoenix provides hands-on turnaround management, complex restructurings, crisis and interim management, liquidity management and operational solutions.  Jenna is responsible for liaising between clients and stakeholders, analyzing client operations and financial trends, managing cash and developing forecasts.  Prior to Phoenix, Jenna was Risk Management Consultant at KFDA. She earned her MBA from Babson College: Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Turnaround Analyst and a Certified Risk Manager

Any hobbies people are surprised to hear you have?
I enjoy playing console video games, mainly FPS.

Vacation spots you recommend?
I recommend vacationing in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.  I grew up an hour away, and this was a favorite spot to relax in the hot springs, especially when surrounded by winter snow.

Most interesting company you have worked with?
A company I worked with recently was in Atlanta; the international company bought pallets of mixed used Apple products, then refurbished and sold the products.  What made the firm interesting were the dramatic swings in cost and selling price, which depended on the party on the other side of the transaction, and current market supply.  These drivers meant the firm earned a 5% margin on one batch, and 80% on another.

Favorite dish to cook?
Anything breakfast-related, particularly eggs!

See any good concerts or entertainment events lately?
I took my boyfriend, Brian, to see Avenged Sevenfold in Reading, PA for his birthday a few months ago; it was an entertaining (and loud!) performance.
