Darryl Kuriger

Managing Director and the Head of Loan Syndications, Wells Fargo Securities

For more than 30 years Darryl Kuriger has been a trusted partner and collaborator across the financial services industry, working closely with clients and internal partners across corporate and investment banking, commercial banking and leveraged finance to deliver optimal capital solutions to Issuers. He has extensive experience, strong leadership skills and a proven ability to navigate through adversity while building strong relationships and delivering results in a highly competitive market. Darryl is widely recognized as a leading figure in the debt capital markets.

Darryl rejoined Wells Fargo in the Spring of 2023 and has served in various influential roles at the firm for more than two decades. He is currently a Managing Director and the Head of Loan Syndications and supports Wells Fargo’s ABL and Middle Market Pro-Rata loan businesses. He guides a team of seventeen professionals responsible for originating, executing and syndicating ABL and Pro-Rata loans for the Commercial Banking franchise. Wells Fargo is consistently the #1 or #2 Left Lead Arranger in the ABL and Middle Market Pro-Rata loan market League Tables.

Prior to returning to Wells Fargo Darryl was the Head of Asset Based Lending at Truist Securities, the Investment Banking division of Truist Financial Corporation. Responsibilities included overseeing a team of ~ sixty-five geographically dispersed professionals across four functional areas of origination, underwriting, asset management and collateral analysis. The ABL portfolio contained a blend of credit facilities provided to hundreds of Investment Banking and Commercial Banking clients of the firm.

Preceding his time at Truist, Darryl was a Managing Director and Head of ABL Capital Markets for Bank of America Securities where he supervised the Global ABL Capital Markets business and was responsible for origination, structuring and distribution for the ABL platform globally. He partnered across Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets and Risk to deliver comprehensive debt and equity capital & advisory solutions for clients in North America, Europe and APAC.

  During his career Darryl’s teams have executed more than $500 Billion of debt transactions in a Left Lead capacity. Darryl and his teams have partnered with Issuer clients across a broad range of industries and geographies to assist clients raising debt and equity capital to finance acquisitions, support growth trajectory, and recapitalize their businesses.

Darryl is married to Sharon Kuriger. They have two children and reside in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
