Biography:
Mark received his undergraduate degree in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After taking two years to work at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, he continued his education at Boston College Law School. There, Mark served as the senior sxecutive sditor of the International and Comparative Law Review and published an article entitled “Sour Grapes: The Compromising Effect of the United States’ Failure to Protect Foreign Geographic Indications of Wines”.
After receiving his JD from BC Law in May 2005, Mark began his legal career as a finance associate in the Boston office of Bingham McCutchen. In June of 2009, as a fourth-year associate, Mark moved from Bingham to Morgan Lewis along with several other colleagues in his practice group.
During his tenure with Bingham and Morgan Lewis, Mark has developed a finance expertise that spans a broad spectrum of industries, earning him a reputation as a go-to attorney in the firm for complex commercial financing transactions of all sizes. He advises both financial institutions and corporate borrowers on all matters related to financings, including international debt financings, debt work-outs and restructurings, asset–based credit facilities, second–lien and split-lien credit facilities, acquisition and retail finance, multinational credit facilities and intercreditor arrangements. In particular, Mark has extensive experience in counseling clients through financings in the retail, manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare/life sciences and financial services industries.
Major financial institutions, such as Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo and commercial finance companies, such as Pathlight Capital and Gordon Brothers Finance Company, each turn to Mark for his legal expertise to help navigate them through the most complex of corporate financing transactions, while mitigating risks and achieving high quality results in a balanced, practical, and efficient manner.
