Biography:

Samantha Alexander, director at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, is a 16-year banking veteran who has excelled in all aspects of her life, including graduating college at the age of 20 with summa cum laude honors with a B.S. in accounting and minors in math and psychology and a two-time winner of one of Wells Fargo’s most prestigious awards, The Golden Spoke.

Samantha has built a solid career of exceptional experience from an analyst to senior field examiner to underwriter to currently managing a team of underwriters for the Southeast region. During this time, her contribution to the business is substantial, having underwrote and closed 120+ transactions, $24+ billion in Total Commitments and $7+ billion in Fundings.

Over the years, Samantha has served on many committees within Wells Fargo that focus on diversity, mentoring rising finance and banking individuals and, as of recently, completed Wells Fargo Transformational Leadership training in 2015, which focuses on high-performing individuals to cultivate competencies to successfully lead themselves, lead a team and lead a business.

In 2006 and 2011, Samantha won one of Wells Fargo’s top honors, The Golden Spoke, which recognizes top performers across The Wholesale Banking Group for her outstanding contributions within the underwriting group.

Outside of work, Samantha is very involved in her community and her children’s school. She is a long-time supporter of the Children’s Restoration Network (CRN). CRN works with 134 shelters around Metro Atlanta, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness. She also works with Angels of Forsyth, a program that delivers holiday gifts to children.

Samantha’s passion, drive and inspiration of life are contagious. She is highly regarded by her team and extremely valued by senior leaders. She credits her success to the loves of her life, her husband and three beautiful children. Samantha resides in Georgia, but is a New York native.
