Biography:

Shadi J. Enos is an attorney in the Bank and Finance Practice Group of Buchalter Nemer.  She represents financial institutions, leading private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in middle-market debt financing and investment-grade credits.

Shadi’s experience includes widely syndicated, club and single-lender representation in connection with cross-border financings, restructurings, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, traditional asset-based lending facilities and debt financings for technology companies.  She represents clients in senior-secured, first-lien/second-lien, mezzanine, unitranche and unsecured financing transactions.

Shadi is one of only a handful of associates recognized by Chambers and Partners as an “Associate to Watch” in the area of Banking and Finance Law and was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2015 and 2016. 

She serves as vice editor of the Recent Developments Editorial of the Uniform Commercial Code Committee of the American Bar Association. She is also a frequent contributor to the ABL Advisor and has published on a variety of topics affecting ABL lenders. Shadi also regularly hosts educational webinars and seminars through Lorman Educational Services, the Commercial Finance Conference of California and others.

She is as an Advisory Board Member for the Western Center on Law and Poverty. She has also provided pro bono legal services to the community through the Cancer Legal Resource Center and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

Shadi earned her J.D. magna cum laude at Loyola Law School, where she was Order of the Coif. While in law school, she was an articles editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, a Sayre MacNeil Scholar and recipient of the Eleanor Klein Merit Award presented by the Law Guild of Beverly Hills.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated summa cum laude.
