Michael Cardello III Elected Chair Of The Commercial & Federal Litigation Section Of The NYSBA

GARDEN CITY, NY; July 29, 2024— Moritt Hock & Hamroff announced today that Michael Cardello III, the firm’s Managing Partner, has been elected to serve as Chair of the Commercial & Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).  This Section seeks to improve the quality of client representation and enhance the administration of justice in the areas of commercial and federal litigation.

"It is a great honor for me to serve in this very prominent and important position," said Mr. Cardello.  "We, as a group, have a responsibility to communicate to both junior and senior attorneys the value of being involved with NYSBA, and more specifically with the Commercial & Federal Litigation Section."

Mr. Cardello was named Managing Partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff earlier this year having been with the firm since 1997, and a Partner since 2006.  He concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, in both state and federal courts, and is often appointed as Special Master and Special Referee by various courts to oversee all aspects of discovery in complex commercial cases.
