Merchandise that is finished, packaged and ready to ship, pending the seller receiving notice of the buyer's instructions of when or where to ship the goods to. Unlike "Bill and Hold" where credit terms begin immediately at billing, the "pack and hold" terms prevent credit from being given until the time of shipment. In this respect, the "pack and hold" is less fully-executed than a "bill & hold."
