The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a serious disruption for manufacturing and distribution businesses worldwide. Shortages of products ranging from food, medical equipment, parts used in all types of manufacturing, and normal everyday consumer goods reflected the fragility of what we all simply took for granted. The supply chain shocks proved that we are all more interconnected than we all may have thought. There have been seismic shifts that will have major implications for asset-based lenders, private equity investors and all stakeholders who provide credit and liquidity not only in the USA, but across the globe.
The panel assembled represents a unique perspective of industry veterans in supply chain and trade finance, sourcing, and logistics and will discuss how businesses and lenders should be adapting for the current state of the world and what may be required in order to avoid a significant negative impact on a borrower’s viability and ultimately collateral performance.
