SFNet Midwest Fireside Chat & Networking Reception

Join the SFNet Midwest Chapter for its first Education Program of 2022. We are offering two options for this event: (1) In-person Fireside Chat & Networking Reception or (2) Virtual Fireside Chat Only.

Please note: proof of vaccination status will be required for all in-person attendees.

Marc Grens (Co-Founder & President, DigitalMint) and Mike Boyer (Senior Director, Huron Consulting Group) will do a fireside chat where they discuss their perspectives on a number of topics including:

• Risks associated with cryptocurrency.
• Different types of fraud scams that the vulnerable population is exposed to with cryptocurrency.
• Macroeconomics and cryptocurrency: the case for the value of bitcoin (and other major utility cryptocurrencies) to continue to skyrocket.
• Reasons why hackers use cryptocurrency for cybersecurity attacks and ransomware.

As a reminder, 2021 chapter memberships expired on December 31st. You have the option to include your 2022 chapter membership when you register for this event. Select the option that includes 2022 Membership when registering. You can also use this link to renew or join.

"No-Risk" Registration

We are offering you the flexibility to switch your in-person attendance for any reason up to 24 hours before the event start time. We’ll refund the difference between the in-person and virtual prices so you can easily convert to online attendance.
