Shifting Dynamics: Exploring Business Trends and Legal Implications in Secured Lending
We are delighted to invite you to the European Chapter event in Frankfurt, kindly hosted by DLA Piper. This event promises an engaging programme featuring an economic-focused keynote address and two expert panels.
The event will kick off with a networking lunch, providing you with an opportunity to connect with industry professionals. Following that, the program will commence with a Keynote Address and include two panels covering significant topics: Business Trends and a legal perspective on the Borrowing Base.
The Business Trends panel will explore the current landscape where banks are becoming more cautious in providing traditional unsecured lending, leading companies to actively pursuing secured lending options in order to finance their increased working capital needs. Key market themes to be discussed include the effects of worldwide inflation and the effects on shift in supply chains of corporates and their financing needs.
The Borrowing Base panel will shed light on the shifting legal landscape that embraces the increasing relevance of secured lending in a challenging market. Legal experts from Germany, the UK and the Netherlands will examine the changes taking place and their potential implications for asset based lending solutions, in particular in case of financial distress and debt restructuring proceedings.
The event will conclude with a drinks reception, providing further networking opportunities to exchange insights and ideas with fellow attendees.
