Please join the latest SFNet Midwest Education Event presented by Richard Kohn and Bill Starshak of Goldberg Kohn. International Lending 101 will provide insight into the issues that must be navigated when lending or taking security in other countries. Topics will include discussion of “ABL-friendly” countries, regulatory considerations, upstream guarantees, perfection of security interests, retention of title and other priming claims, anti-assignment clauses, cash dominion, tax issues, enforcement of security interests, treatment in insolvency and effective deal structures.
