2023 Fall Underwriting Level Two

October 17 to 19, 2023

Online

Date and Time

October 17-19
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET each day

Description

Underwriting Level 2 explores three case studies individually. An emphasis is placed on identifying strengths and weaknesses of each, along with determining, through class participation, any structural changes that could have been addressed in underwriting to better manage the risks within each case. Participants will also explore ways each credit may have been managed ineffectively and discuss what protocols could have been put in place to contain any potential exposure. Through post-mortem review of these three case studies, participants can strengthen their approach to borrower and collateral pitfalls and more quickly identify patterns found in problem accounts to more proactively manage their risk.

We recommended that participants first complete Underwriting Level One before moving on to this curriculum.

Attendees are eligible for 6 CPE credits.

Curriculum
