Festive Social with guest speaker, David Chmiel, Global Torchlight

We invite you to join us for the final event of the year, our Festive Social. Bringing together colleagues, friends and peers from across the industry to close out 2023 and look ahead to a new year.

We are delighted that David Chmiel will join us as our guest speaker.

“The World According to David: Geopolitics and Business in 2024”

Our tumultuous geopolitical environment shows no signs of calming in 2024. David Chmiel is a highly regarded and impactful commentator and advisor on international politics and security who views world events from the perspective of how they impact business.

In this engaging presentation, David will delve into the three C’s: Confusion, Competition, and Conflicts, exploring their potential to stir Chaos – or perhaps not.

Amidst pivotal elections in the UK and US, among other nations, he'll examine the potential economic disruptions that could cause confusion. He'll also analyse the trade and decoupling issues in competitive landscapes that warrant close observation for businesses. Finally, David will assess how ongoing conflicts may impact the global scenario.

Join us as David shares insights into the significant geopolitical risks anticipated in the upcoming year, and answers your questions.

The event continues with a drinks reception, providing further networking opportunities to exchange insights and ideas with fellow attendees.
