Meet the Panel
Ryan Baker
Ryan Baker is the Vice President / Business Development Officer covering the Midwest Region for SPECTRUM Commercial Finance. He is a Minnesota native and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, where he obtained a degree in Business Management and Marketing as well as his Leadership Certificate.
Ryan is someone with strong industry connections in the local market and well over a decade of experience in aligning lending solutions for clients in various finance and legal industries nationwide. He spends the majority of his time sourcing non-bank financing opportunities by working closely with commercial bankers, restructuring advisors, business consultants, investment bankers, CPA's and attorneys. His working capital solutions in ABL and Factoring exceed the goals of borrowers needing between $200,000 up to $7,000,000 in a line of credit.
He is an active board member of the Minnesota chapters of the Secured Finance Network (SFNet) and Turnaround Management Association, and also serves on various committees of the Risk Management Association (RMA).
Jon Fimmen
Jon Fimmen serves as Director of FGI Technology. In his role, Jon focuses on connecting Lenders, Brokers, and Corporates to T.R.U.S.T.™, FGI’s flagship, cloud-based credit insurance and risk management platform, to provide efficiencies in managing their credit insurance footprint.
Prior to joining FGI in 2020, Jon spent over 15 years in the software industry. He holds a degree in Finance/Business Management from the University of Minnesota. Jon resides in Prior Lake, MN with his wife and 4 children.
Greg McBride
Greg McBride serves as Director of FGI Risk, a division of FGI Worldwide focused on maximizing credit insurance benefits for businesses and lenders. Through his experience in risk mitigation, Greg builds relationships and fosters new business for FGI across the Midwest marketplace.
Prior to joining FGI, Greg spent eight years with Allianz Trade (formerly Euler Hermes), most recently as Regional Vice President of the Midwest. He holds a degree in Business Management from Robert Morris University and lives in Cleveland, OH, with his family.
