Description

ABL Loan Documentation is a comprehensive study of the asset-based loan documentation process, from the initial proposal to loan documentation, and all points in between. This curriculum spends a significant amount of time discussing the due diligence process and dissects, in detail, the typical sections of a loan and security agreement. Participants will study:

Structure and purpose of terms sheets and commitment letters,
How the due diligence process works,
Typical documentation required to complete the due diligence process,
The structure and purpose of a Loan and Security Agreement (LSA),
Typical negotiating topics related to an LSA, and
Proper perfection of security interests.

Participants will concentrate on documentation used in the due diligence process as well as the legal documentation commonly associated with a variety of asset-based structures, including all ancillary documents related to the same.

This event is eligible for SFNet's Continuing Education (CEU) credits in order to maintain a Secured Finance Certified Professional (SFCP) certificate. SFCP s are expected to remain active in the industry and to complete at least 18 units of continuing education ("CEUs") for each 2-year reporting period.
