2024 Fall Factoring Underwriting Level 1

November 19 to 21, 2024

Date and Time

November 19-21, 2024
Online
2:00 - 5:00 p.m. ET each day

Description

Underwriting is far more than gathering data and reviewing invoices. Factoring underwriters need to make judgments about how to manage collateral risk, debtor risk and client operational risk, and these are best when based in experience and when incorporating industry standards and best practices.

Factoring Underwriting will help participants better establish eligibility parameters on prospective deals by managing and mitigating known and perceived risks more effectively. Learn how industry leaders think through credit issues and manage risk, by studying:

  • A thorough and systematic overview of the key aspects of Factoring underwriting;
  • Taking control of the underwriting process and managing the expectations of both prospects and internal customers like the sales team;
  • How to deepen awareness and understanding of accounts receivable and relevant support;
  • How to develop deeper analytical skills to identify inconsistencies and potential problems;
  • How to develop a stronger ability to propose strategies to minimize the key risks for a Prospect or Client; and,
  • Report effectively to decision makers.
