First Citizens Bank today announced that its Middle Market Banking group has named April Chow and Marc Einerman as managing directors and relationship managers dedicated to supporting business growth.
Chow will serve the Southern California market and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a portfolio of middle market banking relationships and delivering a full suite of commercial banking products and services. She will be based in Santa Monica, California and report to Katrin Engel, a managing director for First Citizens Middle Market Banking.
“We’re excited to welcome April to the First Citizens team,” said Engel. “Her decades of experience building and managing middle market portfolios will be instrumental as we expand our capabilities on the West Coast.”
Chow joins First Citizens with over 20 years of relationship management and sales experience. She most recently served as group head of City National Bank’s Asian Multinational Group, part of the company’s National Corporate Banking unit, where she launched a national business focused on domestic privately-owned businesses and multinational subsidiaries. Prior to that, she held relationship management positions within the middle market banking groups of Wells Fargo Bank and Comerica Bank. Chow holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Einerman will serve the Northeast market and will be responsible for developing middle market banking relationships and delivering commercial banking products and services. He will also be the primary contact to ensure high quality client service. Based in New York City, he will report to Nathan Pusey, a managing director and Northeast market executive for First Citizens Middle Market Banking.
“We’re pleased to welcome Marc to our growing team,” said Pusey. “Marc has an impressive background serving the middle market, and we’re looking forward to his contributions as we continue to expand our business and strengthen client relationships in the Northeast.”
Einerman brings over 18 years of financial services experience to First Citizens, having most recently served as senior vice president and Commercial Banking team manager at City National Bank, where he managed sales strategy and sourced new opportunities to serve the commercial banking needs of private and public companies. He also held several relationship and portfolio management roles serving the middle market at various financial institutions including Israel Discount Bank of New York, Capital One Bank and North Fork Bancorporation. Einerman holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA in Finance & Economics from Fordham University.
