Crestmark, the Commercial Finance division of MetaBank®, Welcomes Richard Flamang and Ralph Aurelia to the Commercial Lending Development Team

TROY, Mich., (April 25, 2022) – Crestmark, the Commercial Finance division of MetaBank®, N.A., is pleased to announce the additions of Richard Flamang and Ralph Aurelia as experienced business development team members to the Working Capital group. They will be responsible to enhance the growth of small- to medium-sized businesses by providing asset-based lending solutions.
Richard Flamang joined Crestmark as a business development officer in 2021. His leadership along with his skills for developing solid lending solutions precipitated his assumption of the role of western sales manager for the group in 2022. Based in Wisconsin, he reports to National Sales Manager, James (Jim) Farrell.
Flamang came to Crestmark with extensive experience in building strong financial relationship networks nationwide. Most recently he served as senior vice president, managing director at SLR Business Credit, where he led business acquisition efforts. Previous experience includes roles as first vice president with Community South Bank, regional manager with Private Business, Inc., and senior commercial lender with F&M Bancorporation. Flamang holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Ralph Aurelia joined Crestmark as a business development officer in March. Based in Connecticut, he reports to Eastern Sales Manager, Mark Collins.
Aurelia has over 25 years of alternative lending experience and new business origination across a diverse client base. Most recently, he worked at Flexent (a division of Chesapeake Bank), and prior to that served as senior vice president, business development with SLR Business Credit (previously named North Mill Capital and Summit Financial Resources). He also has held positions at Bank of America Leasing M&I Equipment Finance and GE Capital Solutions/Commercial Finance. Aurelia has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
