Widely respected industry veteran Barry Bobrow to lead series of interviews focused on important trends and developments in secured finance
The Secured Finance Network is excited to launch a new video podcast today, in partnership with respected industry veteran Barry Bobrow, and sponsored by Hilco Global. “Our members continue to seek valued insights on issues critical to their businesses,” said SFNet CEO Rich Gumbrecht. “This new resource will complement existing sources of expert analysis and information SFNet provides to our community in an energizing new format.” Bobrow has over 37 years of experience in financial services, most of it in Debt Capital Markets. He has led successful syndication businesses at several large financial institutions, including Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Bobrow has substantial experience in asset-based lending, and for many years has held leadership positions in the Secured Finance Network, including serving as annual chairman of SFNet’s Asset-Based Capital Conference (ABCC), now in its 16th year.
“The In the Know podcasts will be a recurring, free podcast that dives into subjects similar to those presented at ABCC. Each podcast will be a conversation with compelling thought leaders on important topics impacting the secured lending markets,” Bobrow explained. “These brief and engaging discussions will give you information and perspectives critical to being more successful in your businesses by keeping you In The Know.”
The first podcast, available today (Thursday, June 30), will be a conversation with Randy Schwimmer, senior managing director, co-head of senior lending at Churchill Asset Management LLC, and founder/publisher of The Lead Left. The discussion centers on some of the changes the direct lending market has undergone in recent years and how these changes may play out in the current market environment.
