Former Värde Partners President to Enhance and Expand MidOcean’s Investor Relationships Globally
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MidOcean Partners (“MidOcean”), a premier New York-based alternative asset manager specializing in middle-market private equity, structured capital and alternative credit investments, announced today that Jon Fox, former President of the alternative investment firm Värde, has joined the firm as Global Head of Capital Formation. Mr. Fox brings several decades of leadership and alternative asset management experience to MidOcean that will help to enhance and expand MidOcean’s investor relationships globally, and position the firm to continue to meet investors’ evolving needs.

In addition to Mr. Fox’s nearly 11 years of experience at Värde, where he was also previously Head of the New York office, he has held senior roles at Fortress Investment Group and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Fox spent over a decade of his time at these firms while based in London, where he had the opportunity to work with investors across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. His experience has crossed nearly every alternative asset class in both private markets and liquid strategies, and he has helped launch and grow investment businesses and funds in nearly every major region across the globe.
