Introduction to Factoring
Introduction to Factoring is a foundational presentation on the dynamics of the purchasing of accounts receivable as a source of working capital financing, including its place in the market, how it functions, and an overview of structuring a sound factoring facility. This course provides participants with:
- Working knowledge of recourse factoring;
- An understanding of the difference between factoring and lending;
- The mechanics of a factoring relationship;
- Insights into how deals are structured; and,
- An understanding of how factoring risk is managed.
